Qatar- Lulu opens department store in Barwa City

Doha: Residents of Barka City, Abu Hamour, Mesaimeer, Wukair, Al Wakra and Industrial Area have a new reason to shop at Lulu Hypermarket, Barwa City, with the opening of Lulu department store.
The 80,000 square feet store was inaugurated last morning with much fanfare by the Lulu Group management.
The main features of the new store include an extended range of garments, footwear, household products, electronics and mobiles — with all the latest brands and products jostling for shoppers’ attention.
The store has been segmented into three special zones — Lulu fashion store, Lulu Connect and Lulu Celebrate.
The store also features a children’s amusement area spread over 10,000 square feet and includes soft play zone, bumper cars, world trip, mini-top spin, video games, redemption games, novelty & kiddie rides, targeting the large segment of families living in the area.
Lulu, already the most popular shopping destination for the residents of Qatar, will offer 10 percent special discount to Lulu-Doha bank card holders.
It has also worked out attractive offers and promotions like ‘Half Pay Back’ on latest fashion garments and footwear.
Other features include special shop-in-shop for watches, perfumes, mobiles and others facilities such as ATMs and Lulu Exchange, among others.
Commenting on the new store, Mohd Althaf, Director, Lulu Group, said: “This is our very new format of department store we have opened for the first time in Qatar, with the very best of lifestyle and home care products.

The store is easily accessible from Central Doha, Wukair and Al Hilal with the availability of Karwa Public Transport and taxi service.
