UAE- Nahyan bin Mubarak receives former President of Chile

ABU DHABI, 18th May, 2016 (WAM) -- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, yesterday received the former President of the Republic of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, and his accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak exchanged talks with Pinera about bilateral relations between the two countries. He pointed out the importance of boosting cooperation in various fields, especially cultural ones, considering Chile's diverse cultural heritage.
Mr. Pinera said that the good relations between the two countries are now witnessing great development, wishing further progress and development of these relations for the benefit of the two countries.
On the occasion, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan hosted a dinner banquet which was attended by Jean Paul Tarud-Kuborn, Ambassador of Chile to the UAE and accompanying members of the Chilean delegation, along with a number of senior cultural, academic and economic figures in the local community.
