Dubai house prices stay unchanged in April

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Dubai residential market witnessed no monthly decline in April for the first time in almost two years, according to the April 2016 ValuStrat Price Index (VPI).

Furthermore, slight price recoveries in a small number of districts pointed to possible signs of a bottoming out in monthly values.

Compared to a 100 point base in January 2014, the April 2016 VPI registered 98 index points, with no significant change in values when compared to the previous seven months. This marks a continuation of evidence of price stabilisation.

The villa market registered 96.7 points in April, no change when compared to March, and the apartment market 98.8 points, up 0.3 per cent since January.
