Qatar Chamber Review Cooperation with Turkish, Russian Delegations


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) discussed in two separate meetings with delegations from Turkey and Russia aspects of enhancing mutual cooperation between business owners in Qatar, Turkey and Russia.

QCCI Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar stressed during a meeting with the Turkish delegation the strength of ties between Qatar and Turkey as well as the several meeting points in visions of the leaderships of both countries.

He also welcomed the growing cooperation between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts in the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, noting that the time is convenient for promoting these ties, particularly in light of the construction leap in Qatar and the ongoing megaprojects as the country prepares for hosting the 2022 World Cup.

In the other meeting, the QCCI vice chairman discussed investment opportunities in Russia and fields that Qatari business owners can invest in as well as the investment atmosphere in both countries.

The meeting also reviewed the activities of some Russian firms that work in Qatar and are keen on promoting cooperation ties with Qatari businesses in all fields, particularly in the sectors of services and industry.
