Qadsiya's table tennis teams honored


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qadsiya Sports Club Sheikh Khaled Al-Fahad honored the club's table tennis teams for winning third place in the overall excellence cup, garnering a total of 14 points from various tournaments for this season.

The U12 table tennis team won the league and cup champions, earning a total of eight points € four points for each tournament, whereas the U15 team won the third place in the league and the cup champions with a total of four points from both tournaments. In the match for individuals, Rashid Al-Shaya won the first place in youth category, whereas Mahmoud Ahmad came third in U15 category.

In addition to Al-Shaya and Ahmad, other players who represented Qadsiya are Abdallah Bo Mejdad, Ahmad Haitham, AbdulWahhab Al-Shaya, Muhammad Wael, Hussein Khalifa and Mu'adh Faraj. All of them played under the team's technical manager, Muhammad Sager, and Coach Amro Al-Nimir who played a major part in the success of the table tennis players and teams.

Representing Sheikh Khaled Al-Fahad was Deputy Treasurer of the club Hassan Abu Al-Hassan, who extolled the achievements of the table tennis teams which came through the high level of performance demonstrated by the players, in addition to the efforts rendered by their coaches in improving and polishing the players' talents for better performance.

Abu Al-Hassan advised the young players to strive for distinction in education and also when practicing their hobbies, with education as the first priority in all cases. He also extended his gratitude and appreciation to the parents and guardians of the players for the support they give to their children, as this gives them more motivation to perform better.
