(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, May 17 (KUNA) -- Arab League's Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby called to hold an extraordinary meeting on foreign ministers level on May 28th to discuss recent regional developments, Assistant Secretary-General Ahmad Bin Helli announced Tuesday.
The meeting will address latest updates regarding the Palestinian cause, Libya, and preparations for the 27th session Arab Summit, slated for July 25th in Nouakchott, Mauritania, Bin Helli said in a press statement.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is set to take part in the extraordinary meeting to determine the Arab stand at the forthcoming Paris Conference on May 30th, he noted, adding that the meeting will focus on the Palestinian issue and ways to achieve the two-state solution. (end) rg.ma
