Jordan- Royal Decree endorses amended Industry and Trade Law
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 17 (Petra)--A Royal Decree was issued approving the amended Industry and Trade Law, and was published in the Official Gazette yesterday.
Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali told Petra that the law came to enhance the role of the ministry in monitoring markets and protecting consumers.
She said the law includes amendments that prohibit trading in subsidized goods, stiffen penalties on those violating the law and end these measures once the violators pay fines.
