Italy hails level of Kuwait shooting team

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ROME, May 17 (KUNA) -- President of the Italian Shooting Federation Luciano Rossi and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled Al-Sabah hailed the advanced international expertise level of the Kuwaiti shooting team.
The statements were made during the ambassador's visit to the team's training camp at Umbriaverde facility in Todi city, central Italy on Tuesday, in preparation for the upcoming second Olympics grand prix.
Luciano, also member of the Italian Senate, noted that Kuwaiti shooters have been following his country's school in the sport and training with their Italian counterparts for years, Kuwait Embassy said in a statement to KUNA.
He added that Italy is set to host several international sport events, mainly His Highness the Amir Grand Prix early June. (end) mn.ag
