Oman- Experiments with the Lens show held at Sur CAS

Fifty first year students of Communications Studies Department from the Sur College of Applied Sciences held an exhibition titled, 'Experiments with the Lens' recently.

The exhibition that showcased the students' learning in digital media and photography techniques was inaugurated by Dr Ahmed Juma al Riyami, dean.

It was also attended by staff and students of the college, stated a press release. In addition to 80 photographs, the exhibition also featured an interactive photography and digital production studio where visitors were given the opportunity to try their hand at taking pictures or making their own videos using specialised equipment.

Appreciating the effort of the students, Dr Riyami said, 'This exhibition is special as it shows application of knowledge that the students have gained, even at the very beginning of their study. Their talent in photography and their skills in digital media are evident in the photographs they have displayed.'
