4.9 earthquake hits Algerian province of Medea

Algiers, Sha'ban 09, 1437, May 16, 2016, SPA -- An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit Medea province, south of Algeria today.
Algerian news agency which carried the news, said the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics did not mention any damage from the earthquake, epicenter of which is four kilometers north of the city of Maihoub.
