(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Moroccan heavy weight kickboxer Badr Hari has been arrested in Mohammed V airport in Casablanca on charges of assault and battery against a hotel waiter.
Hari is, accordingly, expected to be appear tomorrow before the court of Marrakech for the aforementioned charges. According to Moroccan sports news website Hesport, Hari was arrested following a national arrest warrant against him. According to the same source, Badr Hari is currently under the custody of the police of Marrakech after preliminary investigation following a complaint made against him by a night club waiter in Marrakech. Hari was arrested immediately after he set foot at the airport Mohammed V in Casablanca, Saturday night, before being transferred to the headquarters of the state security in Marrakech.
