Iran pursues deep cooperation with Finnish firms

(MENAFN) Finland is willing to boost economic and trade ties with Iran, as it tries to pave the way for expanding ties between the two countries, based on recent reports.

An Iranian official pointed to Finnish products such as elevators and diesel engines and noted that the Islamic Republic can maintain trade ties with Finland in these segments.

Additionally, in a notable development in early December, Finnish Minister of Foreign Trade and Development said Iran abounds with investment opportunities for Finland.

"Iran is an important business and political partner for Finland and today we need to establish relations and make interactions with the Middle East region more than any other time," said the Minister.
