Japan, Iran prepare for vital deals in water division


(MENAFN) Iran is very keen to establish a credit line between Tehran and Tokyo, which would contribute to the implementation of joint ventures on water management systems.

In accordance, a substantial portion of the mutual credit line with Japan is anticipated to be allocated for implementing major water and wastewater projects.

Iran realizes that Japan's advanced technologies in water management, coupled with Iran's scientific potential and human resources, can help improve efficiency of water systems in the nation.

The Japanese have already offered to invest in and implement mega water schemes in Iran, including Persian Gulf water desalination plants and transferring it to Iran's central desert areas.
