Oman- Student projects awarded in Bahrain competition

Five projects developed by Omani students have been honoured at the Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Awards organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Bahrain. The initiative aims to motivate young people to develop creative projects.

Nasser bin Salim al Heimli from the College of Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) came first in the architectural design category in the 19-24 year group. Yousef bin Said al Shuaili, a 12th grade student came first in the photography contest in the U-19 category.

Anas bin Mohammed al Theeb from the College of Commerce at SQU came second in the photography contest in the 19-24 year group. Anwar al Hinaiah, Sarah al Shukailiya and Ikram al Hinaiah, graduates of the College Engineering at SQU came third in the field of science in the 20-24 year group while Raja bint Salim al Kalbaniyah came third in the drawing category in the 19-24 year group.
