AJMAN, 11th May, 2016 (WAM) The Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, Ajman, today launched this year's Ramadan Campaign under the title "Charity will increase your money" for the sixth year in a row.

The foundation announced six charitable projects during the holy month of Ramadan at a cost of AED11.5 million for the benefit of the needy individuals and families in the Emirate of Ajman.

At a press conference held at the foundation's headquarters, Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Foundation said that in line with the vision of the foundation and its keenness on meeting the humanitarian needs, and given its commitment to the teachings of Islam, the foundation, since its establishment, has been meeting the needs of the UAE citizens in Ajman as part of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and the support of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

In a statement, Sheikha Azza told the Emirates News Agency (WAM), that the six projects of the Ramadan campaign are varied and include the distribution of the Zakat and Ramadan Ration, Iftar Project, the Zakat al-Fitr and the Eid Clothing programme, adding that they aim to reach out to all families in the Ajman community.

She also called on charitable societies and businessmen to support the campaign and provide aid to the underprivileged and low income families.
