UAE- Adnoc opens UAQ station


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) In its efforts to continue its expansion plans in order to reach the establishment of more than 450 stations in the country by 2017, Adnoc Distribution opened a new service station in Umm Al Quwain, or UAQ.

The station is strategically located and contains six islands that include 12 pumps to fill vehicles with types E-Plus 91, Special 95 as well as Diesel and Natural Gas for Vehicles, or NGV. Kaber service station serves as the newest station within the Adnoc Distribution network across the UAE.

Engr Saeed Mubarak Al Rashidi, acting chief executive officer for Adnoc Distribution said: "The opening of this new service station in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain is Adnoc Distribution's latest step towards achieving our vision to expand in order to meet the growing economic and urban growth witnessed across the emirates of Umm Al Quwain and the UAE. We are seeing a strong and continuous demand for our offerings and services and by expanding our network, we are meeting the requirements of those demands."

Al Rashidi added: "Adnoc Distribution is committed to improve its administrative and operational efficiency, and is committed to promoting its capabilities to develop more facilities that will support the process of development of the UAE as a whole; especially in the areas of urban and rural infrastructure."

Similar to other Adnoc Distribution service stations, the Kaber service station offers a range of petroleum products and services that are accessible 24-hours a day. The station is also comprised of an Oasis store, a bakery as well as a mosque. -
