Qatar and GCC payments increase in Q3


(MENAFN) Payments from Qatar and GCC States continued to increase despite a decline in oil prices, while whole payments from Qatar were almost USD 11.2bn in 2014.

Moreover, remittances from the major oil-exporting nations of the GCC continued to increase in 2015, as the GCC States used their substantial reserves.

Additionally, payments from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which account for almost half of remittances from the GCC, grew by 7 percent through the cited quarter.

On the other hand, the GCC have not seen any drop in payments outflow some countries are influenced by oil price decline.
