Qatar condemns attack on traffic police headquarters in Somalia

DOHA 10th May 2016 (WAM) -- The State of Qatar has strongly condemned an attack which targeted traffic police headquarters in Mogadishu killing and wounding a number of people.

Qatar News Agency QNA quoted a statement released by the Foreign Ministry as saying that the State of Qatar as well as condemning the criminal acts that are contrary to all human values and principles reaffirmed its solidarity with the Republic of Somalia and its people and its support to all efforts undertaken by Somalia to maintain security and stability.

The statement stressed Qatar's firm position which rejects violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations whatever its motives and justifications.
