Oman- Payyanur Fest showcases culture heritage of north Kerala town

Payyanur Sauhruda Vedhi (PSV) in association with Desert Events organised its annual mega cultural extravaganza titled Payyanur Fest 2016 recently at Ruby Hall of Crystal Suites in Wadi Kabir.

The fest was opened by the well-known scientist noted educationalist and thinker Dr T P Sasikumar who is also a world renowned motivational orator. As part of the celebration Ratheesh Kumar Radio Asia fame singer and Sudha Renjith playback singer and Hindustani musician won the hearts of the thickly packed audience with their mind-blowing musical performance synchronised with the live orchestration of Melody Music Muscat. Sauhruda Vedhi artists and RDI students also added colours to the Fest with their dance and musical performance.

T Bhaskaran (ex-convener ISC Malayalam wing) Tony George Alexander (director Oman UAE Exchange Centre) and V T V Damodaran (founder PSV Oman) were present on the occasion as the guests of honour.

Premanand Edacheri presided over the function. Mohanan Kodakkad delivered the welcome speech and Raghunath gave the vote of thanks.

The details of the socially useful activities undertaken by PSV were presented by Babu Puravankara.

Payyanur Sauhruda Vedhi conducts Payyanur Fest every year for showcasing the cultural and historical uniqueness of Payyanur a north Kerala town.

PSV has been carrying out so many socially useful activities in Kerala and Oman as well.
