Turkey- 2 dead in separate shootings in US county

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) >At least two people were killed Friday in separate shootings in Marylandaccording to officials.

The suspect 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil was also wanted in connection to the killing of his wife Gladys Tordil 44 a day earlier.

Tordil is a law enforcement officer with the Federal Protective Service.

In thefirst shooting Fridayonemale was killed and two others -- one male and one female -- were injured outside a mall in Bethesda an area close to the nation’s capital police said.

The wounded male is in critical condition at a local hospital.

In the other shooting at a shopping center near the fist incident a woman was killedoutside a grocery store.

Tordil was taken into custody by the Montgomery county police.

Officials lifted a shelter in place order that had been issued for the majority of schools in the area. A lockdown on recreational centers were also lifted according to the county’s Twitter account.

Police say the shootings may be related media reports said.
