100 Islamic State militants killed in Iraq

Baghdad: Over 100 ISIS militants were killed in security operations in many areas in Iraq.

The joint forces command said in a statement that over 70 ISIS militants were killed in Fallujah after targeting their hideouts and destroying a convoy of military vehicles pointing out that following the operation the Amiriyah-Fallujah road west of the country was retaken from ISIS group.

In Mosul security forces foiled an attack by ISIS killing over 20 militants.

The joint forces command said that 10 ISIS militants were killed in operations in the western and southern suburbs of Baghdad and another 9 militants were killed in raids on different parts of the city.
