(MENAFN) Tesla is increasing the timeline for building half a million cars yearly as it steps up production to meet growing need for its electric cars.
Moreover, a huge demand for more affordable Model 3 led the firm to shave two years off its timeline for building a joined total of 500,000 cars.
The company's plan to receive 80,000 to 90,000 new cars this year, and it was on track to start delievries of its awaited Model 3 next year.
In addition, the firm received more than 325,000 orders for its Model 3 during the first week it started taking deposits.
