Korea to increase investments in Egypt to USD 3bn


(MENAFN) Korea plans to boost the size of investments in Egypt to USD 3bn, while there are efforts between both sides to achieve this goal.

Moreover, Egypt's minister of trade and industry signed a protocol of collaboration with the Korean minister of industry to support SMEs.

In addition, the Commercial Annex of the S. Korean embassy in Cairo also signed a cooperation protocol with the Cairo Chamber of Commerce to increase trade.

Korean firms are taking part in the forum in order to explore the Egyptian market, especially in the areas of small and renewable energy.
