Floods in Southern Morocco Kill Six People Four Missing


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Six people were killed and two others are missing following the floods caused by heavy rain Wednesday and Thursday in the provinces of Taroudant and Ouarzazate the Interior Ministry said Friday.

In the province of Taroudant four people of the same family died Wednesday in Douar Oughri after floods swept away their home while a woman is missing in Ekidi commune the source added in a statement.

In Ouarzazate province a woman died Wednesday when her home was flooded in Douar Tasmart the ministry said adding that a man died Thursday while trying to cross Oued Dades along with another man who is still missing.
