Gulf Air's FalconFlyer and Europcar in deal


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Gulf Air and Europcar officials signing the agreement.

Manama: Gulf Air the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier yesterday announced a partnership between the airline’s FalconFlyer Loyalty Programme and Europcar the European leader in vehicle rental services and a major mobility player.

The partnership will see Gulf Air FalconFlyer members benefit from Europcar’s mobility services obtaining access to one of the largest car rental networks spanning over 140 countries and accruing FalconFlyer Loyalty Programme miles on every Europcar rental.

The partnership agreement was signed by Ahmed Janahi Gulf Air A/Chief Commercial Officer and Marcus Bernhardt Chief Commercial Officer Europcar Group at the national carrier’s head office in Muharraq.

Janahi welcomed the agreement saying: “We are delighted to partner with Europcar and broaden the distinctive offering and privileges available to Gulf Air’s FalconFlyer Loyalty Programme members. We look forward to working closely with Europcar and building a mutually rewarding partnership.”

Commenting on the agreement Marcus Bernhardt Chief Commercial Officer Europcar Group said: “We are delighted to provide Gulf Air FalconFlyer Loyalty Programme members with our expertise and quality of services. Thanks to the impressive coverage of our network Gulf Air FalconFlyer Loyalty Programme members can now have a Europcar vehicle awaiting them upon arrival at their destination – at greater benefit to them.”
