Kuwait- His Highness PM arrives in Hanoi
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) HANOI May 5 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived in Hanoi on Thursday on an official visit to Vietnam; the second leg of an Asian tour that will also take him to Republic of Korea and Japan. The first stop was in Dhaka Bangladesh.
His Highness the Premier was received at Noi Bai International Airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam and a host of senior officials as well as Kuwait's Ambassador to Vietnam Adnan Al-Ahmad and Consul General in Ho Chi Minah Omar Al-Qinaee.
Upon arrival His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak voiced content over visiting "friendly" Vietnam in a bid to further boost already deep bilateral relations which saw tangible development throughout the last four decades on many levels.
His Highness added that he holds a letter from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Vietnamese President concerning regional and international affairs in addition to issues of common interest.
His Highness noted that talks with senior Vietnamese officials are also to take place during the visit. (end) hb
