Leave laggards risk 'residency'

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) is looking into the possibility of allowing employers to file a complaint against an expatriate worker if he extends his annual leave and stays outside Kuwait for many months without a valid reason, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources disclosed the erring employee will be reported absconding while his residence permit will be cancelled even if he did not reach the six-month period for automatic cancellation of the permit, in addition to being banned from entering the country.
