(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Preparations are well underway ahead of the 4th Workers Cup final match staged by the Qatar Stars League with support from the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
The final match between Taleb Group and Gulf Contractors is set to KO at 6:45pm at Al Ahli stadium. Prior to the final a 3rd/4th place match between Mowasalat and Larsen & Toubro, which will KO Toubro at 4:45 pm this will also be held at Al Ahli stadium. As part of the two matches taking place, spectators will be able to enjoy a fan zone, which will have a host of activities on hand, including food and drink stalls.
A medical tent will also be in the fan zone offering spectators the chance to have a free check-up, spectators will also get to enjoy a half time show of entertainment. The teams taking part will also get the chance to take away a prize for their efforts in the competition.
The winning side will receive the Workers Cup, Gold winners medals and QAR 25,000 to share. The second placed side will pick up the runners up award of QAR 15,000 to share along with a medal. Whilst the third placed award will be bronze medals and QAR 10,000 to be shared amongst the team. Individual awards will also be awarded at the final match for best goalkeeper, man of the match, best fan, and fair play award.
The fourth edition of the tournament saw 24 teams take part in the competition, which is open to companies who take part in World Cup projects, and who have signed up to the Workers Welfare charter.
