Iran keen to attract Spanish investments


(MENAFN) Iran has recently signed a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with Spain to broaden and strengthen their joint ties upon relieving the Persian Gulf Islamic Republic from sanctions.

In accordance, Iranian officials consider it a groundbreaking turning point in the promotion of the two countries relations and they're constantly urging Spanish investors to seize the opportunity.

Trade exchange between Tehran and Madrid reached a significant total of USD5 billion before the western-imposed bans, thus Iran is ready to cooperate with Spanish firms in tech transfer and financing projects.

Referring to the encouraging remarks made by the US officials urging European nations to normalize ties with Tehran, Iran expressed hope that Spanish banks seize the opportunity for investment in Iranian schemes.
