US oil output drops to lowest level since Sept 2014


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) WASHINGTON May 4 (KUNA) -- US oil output recorded its lowest level since September 2014 sinking by more than 100000 barrels per day from 8.938 million bpd to 8.825 million bpd in the week up to April 29.

However imported crude helped drive up commercial stockpiles recording a 110000 barrels per day rise which lowered crude prices US Energy Department figures showed.

Imports over April averaged 8.4 percent more than 2015. (end) sd
