UAE Ambassador takes part in Bahraini PM s meeting with GCC Ambassador

MANAMA 4th May 2016 (WAM) Abdul Redha Abdullah Mahmoud Khouri Ambassador of the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain yesterday participated in the meeting of GCC ambassadors with HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain at Gudaibiya Palace.

Bahrain's PM hailed the distinguished level of the UAE-Bahraini ties stressing that the GCC leader's achievements are notable as the cultural boom in the GCC countries has become a role model for the development sector globally.

Bahrain's Prime Minister discussed with the heads of GCC diplomatic missions the latest developments in the region and the world. He also stressed the importance of supporting efforts that boost joint GCC and Arab work. He also noted that the ties between the countries in the region are based on strong and historic relations and potential that allows them to establish a strategic partnership that would contribute to increasing political and economic powers and contribute positively to international decisions.

He added that the GCC states represent a single entity that complete one another while pointing out that the Gulf nations are eager for further integration that ensures tranquility in the light of the global turmoil and challenges facing GCC development.

He also confirmed the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain led by Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa King of Bahrain to support efforts aimed at enhancing the Gulf system and making it stronger to address regional and international challenges especially in the domains of security and the economy.
