RAFO evacuates Omani patient from Iran

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Wednesday airlifted a critically ill Omani from Shiraz in Iran to the sultanate responding to a call from his sons. The man was suffering from bleeding in the brain and in a coma. Hence he could not be flown back on a commercial flight.

RAFO sent a private plane to Iran with a full medical team and necessary equipment on board accompanied by a member of the patient's family from the wilayat of Rustaq.

The plan brought them from Shiraz to the Seeb Air Base from where the patient was transferred to the Khoula Hospital.
