Oman- Citizen Journalist: Do your bit this summer for the little birds

Summer is here and it's going to be equally harsh on the birds and animals. Kindly do your bit by keeping a bowl of fresh water outside your balcony garden or window. Friends...time has come again.

It has started getting hot and small animals and birds will soon start feeling it. So please keep a pot of water on the terrace window sills or gardens or any other place convenient to them. All it needs is refilling daily and cleaning once a week.

Let's start this noble gesture today. We did our bit by keeping a pot of water on our window sill at our home in Ghubra and here is what happened. We were privileged to give shelter to two little birds on our window sill. It all started with them making their nest - stick by stick laying and hatching young ones protecting their little ones during rains. Now they are waiting to fly. Isn't our lives very similar?
