Stood secondin the National Inter District Junior Athletics Championship 2015
Tushar Singh a student of Grade IX from VIBGYOR High Vadodara Schoolshowcased his winning spirit at the National Inter District Junior Athletics Championship 2015 held at Vishakhapatnamfrom September 5thto 7th this year.The event witnessed participation from around 4000 students across various categories.
Tushar Singhdisplayed his athletic talent by securing the second position in U-14 Short-put (13 meter 38 cm). He was awarded with a silver medal and a cash prize of Rs. 2000 at the event. He was further awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 11000/- by Baroda District Athletics Association.
Tushardiscovered his potential in the sport only when he participated in an event early this year. Since then he has been rigorously practicing to enhance his skills. From next year onwards he aims to participate in other athletic sports as well. Besides Short-put he is passionate about Cricketand he has been developing skills to excel in this sport too.
