(MENAFNEditorial) Following the successful inaugural edition of AMSI Voices – a networking platform by Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) to empower the graduating students through connecting with the schools' alumni – the esteemed founding members have reaffirmed their commitment to inspire change and empowerment amongst the society's youth.
Speaking to media in Dubai, the members also announced the second edition of AMSI Voices to be held in October 2016 across the AMSI schools - Al Mawakeb Schools in Al Barsha and Al Garhoud, The International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS). The next edition will build on the previous success, which concluded under the theme of "Girls Are Makers of Change" in April 2016. The activities under the programme will aim to engage with the student community, sensitize them with emerging trends in the UAE's entrepreneurial landscape, channel energy towards a bright future after school, and set the tone for the beginning of a new academic year.
Alissar Nasr-Soubra, AMSI Chief Academic Officer believes that the AMSI Voices proposition has the potential to extend beyond the AMSI school community: "The response garnered for the event so far has been exceedingly encouraging. After successfully holding our first edition, we had students who personally told us that they benefitted from the expert talks greatly, and felt motivated to identify their skills and focus their efforts in transforming themselves into achievers. We are confident that in a few years, AMSI Voices will have a positive effect on the wider student community across schools and universities in the country."
