Ithraa to organise Invest in Oman Roadshow in France

An Omani business delegation led by officials from Ithraa will leave for Paris next week to conduct the three-day Invest in Oman Roadshow.

The delegation will have representatives from Duqm Special Economic Zone Authority Oman Air Oman Aquaculture Development Company and Oman Rail.

Commenting on the trade visit H H Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al Said director general of investment promotion Ithraa said 'In addition to strengthening existing Oman-France trade and investment ties we have identified strong business prospects in tourism logistics food and beverage manufacturing and fisheries sectors.'

Sayyid Faisal added 'We are in a great position to create awareness and highlight the wealth of opportunities on offer in key sectors in the sultanate. 'Today Oman is a major economy in GCC with a great talent pool and more affordable than many other countries in the region. It is the perfect location for French companies looking to enter the booming markets in the Gulf Asia and Africa. Some recent developments such as the new Muscat International Airport Duqm Port Oman Rail Al Mouj Muscat Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and Madinat al Irfan project have added to Oman's international appeal.
