Canada's new budget aims to push economy


(MENAFN) Canada has revealed a stimulus budget, in hope of refreshing the nation's economy through spending greatly on infrastructure and tax benefits for the middle class.

As the budget includes an unprecedented spending on indigenous communities, it's expected to lift Canada's economic growth by 0.5 percent in the 1st year and 1 percent in the 2nd year.

Decision makers have stressed on the fact that solid economy starts with a strong middle class, plus building an economy that works for Canadians is the top priority of the government.

"Our plan will recapture the hope and optimism for the future that existed in previous generations, and put it to work for the next," stated the country's Finance Minister.
