Jordan- Moderate conditions forecast over next three days


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman May 4 (Petra) -- A tangible drop in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday; therefore it will be moderate across the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for light showers. According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) partly cloudy and relatively cold weather will prevail at night in most regions while it will be fair in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Winds will be westerly moderate to brisk blowing dust mainly in the desert areas.

Temperatures will slightly rise on Thursday but it will remain moderate across the country with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds the JMD added.

Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Friday with a chance for light showers specially in the northern regions. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust it added.

Temperatures forecast in the capital for today will reach a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 13 degrees at night while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 29 degrees plunging to19 at night.
