Bahrain Stock Index Drops 3.25 Points


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Bahrain All Share Index has closed today at 1,109.46 points marking a decrease of 3.25 points (-0.29%) below the previous closing.

According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), this decrease was due to the fall in the Commercial Banks and Services Sector.

Results indicated that 24 equity transactions took place with a volume of 500,480 worth BD 114,083.

Results also indicated that 11 equity Bonds took place with a volume of 225,290 worth BD 225,290. Representing 66.38% of the total value of securities traded.

Investors traded mainly in the Commercial Banks Sector representing 28.18% of the total value of shares traded.
