Our favourite Argentinean establishment bar none, Gaucho is built to provide the most succulent cuts around.
You must try the delicately marbled 'Tira de Ancho' rib-eye steak with chimichurri and treat yourselves to a generous side of thick hand cut chilli sea salt chips and the roasted beetroot and pumpkin salad. You won't regret it.

Rare, Desert Palm Resort, Dubai
A steakhouse on a ranch of sorts, Rare is a bit of drive out the city being situated at the Desert Palm Resort, but it's worth it. The stable surroundings of the polo club and the beautiful boutique hotel add to the Southern style gentility charm.
A big old 250g sirloin Australian 300 Day Grain Fed Black Angus is the only way to go here.

J&G Steakhouse at The St. Regis Dubai
A new contender J&G offers 17 cuts of flavoursome meat specially imported from Australia, USA, Wales and Ireland. The restaurant's signature cuts include the 560gr bone-in rib eye and 3809 bone-in strip loin, all carved tableside. It's a challenge, but the 1.4kg Tomahawk Steak is something special.

Terra Firma Steakhouse, InterContinental Dubai Festival City
Tuesday night is deal night at Terra Firma, but we like this place any day of the week. All the regulars on offer and they also have their own Tomahawk challenge.

The Forge Steakhouse, Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi
This capital establishment recently brought together literature and dining in a menu inspired by Hemingway's books. While that was well received it doesn't matter when you show up here, order a rare tenderloin and it'll be a while before you want to leave the table.
