Emirates Post Group advises customers to insure their parcels

(MENAFNEditorial) Emirates Post Group has advised customers who send parcels to international destinations to insure them against loss or damage for a nominal fee, while booking at any of the 118 post offices across the country. EPG Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, said: "The rising volumes of parcels reflect high customer satisfaction for the service. But for total peace of mind, customers are advised to buy insurance for the parcels. The postal insurance service allows the sender to insure valuable items, such as important letters and parcels, against loss or damage in whole or in part. Our partnership with various postal organizations around the world guarantees reliable and speedy service." "The insurance package allows customers and contract holders to send large volumes of parcels and benefit from the fast delivery. We also offer track and trace facility. The insurance protects the sender against any unforeseen damage that can be caused to a parcel while in transit. That is why we recommend insurance of parcels," Mr. Bin Karam added. Emirates Post Group has seen a rapid increase in the volume of parcels and packages, fueled by rising demand from expatriates who send parcels to their home countries and companies looking for effective solutions. Customers can send parcels to all parts of the world under three options for delivery: within a period of 3-4 days; 4-7 days; and 7-14 days.
