Turkey's key carrier to get 26 Boeing aircrafts this year

(MENAFN) Boeing will deliver a record number of six 777-300ERs and 20 Next-Generation 737-800s over the course of this year to Turkey's top-carrier Turkish Airlines.

The delivery of a further 26 Boeing jets this year, which form a substantial part of the giant's long-haul and short-haul fleets, are integral to Turkish's continued growth.

The Next-Generation 737's market success has been confirmed by investors, who regularly rank it as one of the most favored single-aisle airplanes due to its wide market base and superior efficiency.

"We have a strong relationship with the airline and are honored that we continue to play a key part in supporting its ambitious growth plans," said Boeing's vice president of European Sales.
