Qatar- QA flies high at Arabian Travel Market


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) A visitor experiencing Qatar Airways’ First Class hospitality at the airline’s stand.



DOHA: Thousands of visitors visited Qatar Airways’ (QA) stand at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2016 which concluded in Dubai on Thursday.

The visitors thronged the airline’s impressive two-storey stand exploring the potential to travel the world through the airline’s network of more than 150 destinations.

On day one of ATM Al Baker held a press conference to announce the launch of a luxurious new lounge in Dubai International Airport proof of the airline’s commitment to the local market and valued UAE customers. During ATM QA welcomed industry leaders and dignitaries to its stand.

Al Baker also took centre stage in a capacity-crowd session hosted by celebrity Chair John Strickland to offer unique insight and updates on some of the industry’s hottest topics including innovation and security.

He also spoke about the impressive roster of new destinations QA will launch in 2016.

On Thursday coinciding with the official launch of Dubai International Airport’s new Concourse D Al Baker hosted Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum Chairman of Dubai Airports President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group at QA’s newly-opened Premium Lounge. The lounge on Concourse D is available to QA’s First and Business Class passengers and Privilege Club Platinum and Gold members.

The lounge is a modern and sophisticated space where travellers can relax and rejuvenate before their journey. It is decorated with artistic Arabic calligraphy Mediterranean-style tiles and calming water fountains featuring private family areas shower facilities spacious seating areas and an international cuisine buffet.The Peninsula
