Saudi Grains Organization Completes awarding 2nd batch of imported wheat

Riyadh Rajab 25 1437 May 02 2016 SPA -- Saudi Grains Organization has completed awarding the procedures of the second batch of imported wheat for the year 1437/1438 AH with a quantity amounting to (620000) tons of hard wheat distributed among European American (North and South) and Australian companies.
The Director General of Saudi Grains Organization Engineer Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares said in a statement today that the contract for this batch comes within the coverage of local needs and maintaining a strategic reserve of wheat noting that the second batch will arrive this year during the period (July-August 2016 ) on board 10 ships distributed among three ports in Jeddah Dammam and Jazan.
