Iran works hard to access global banking network

(MENAFN) The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) is pushing to reintegrate Iranian financial institutes into the worldwide banking system, based on the latest reports.

The Islamic Republic's main task regarding this manner is to take itself off the Financial Action Task Force's (FATF) blacklist for alleged support of terrorism.

The head of CBI called on the United States to feel responsible for banking ambiguities impeding Iran's access to European Union (EU) financial institutions.

"We're surprised by the positive steps taken by the Iranian banks and financial institutions to make things right," stated a top FATF representative.
