Saudi- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the President of Turkmenistan hold talks attend signing ceremony of nine agreements and memos

Riyadh Rajab 24 1437 May 01 2016 SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the President of Turkmenistan Gurban Goli Mohammadov held at Al-Yamama palace in Riyadh a round of talks and attended a signing ceremony of nine agreements and memoranda on cooperation between the two countries.
At the outset of the meeting the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the President of Turkmenistan in his second country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishing him a good stay.
He said the president's visit comes as a sign of further enhancing the relations between the two countries in all fields particularly the commercial investment oil gas and energy sector agriculture and livestock and tourism as well as coordination of positions towards combating of terrorism and extremism.
The monarch praised the outcome of Turkmenistan's policies including the country's neutrality respect of good neighborhood principle and support of the Military Islamic Alliance to combat terrorism leading to the country's political stability and economic growth.
He expressed hope that the world community would succeed to find a solution to the Syrian crisis according to Geneva statement and UN resolution No. 2254 and that the consultations among Yemeni parties would lead to solving the crisis according to the Gulf initiative and outcomes of the national dialogue and the UN resolution No. 2216. He also said "we call on Iran to stop intervening in the domestic affairs of the region's countries and supporting the militias and armed factions".
