Iran, Russia to revive joint flight courses

(MENAFN) The total of flights from Russia to Iran is set to climb from five to nine per week, as the aviation authorities of the two nations agreed earlier to expand collaboration in civil aviation.

In more detail, journeys from Russia will be able to go to Tehran, Isfahan, Mashhad, Rasht and three other cities that the Persian Gulf Islamic Republics will confirm and authorize soon.

Meanwhile, flights from Iran carriers can fly to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Kazan, Ufa, Sochi and one other destination at the discretion of the Russian aviation authorities.

"We have discussed issues concerning supplies of Tu-204SM and Sukhoi Superjet 100 airplanes, supplies of helicopters, GAZ and Sollers buses and automobiles," said Iran's Communications Minister.
