Bahrain keen to benefit from Jordan's health legislation


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman April 29 (Petra) -- A Bahraini parliamentary delegation on Thursday affirmed keenness to benefit from Jordan's health legislation expertise and to start mega health projects in cooperation with Jordan.

At a meeting with Minister of Health Ali Hiyasat the Bahraini lawmakers discussed ways to bolster cooperation with the Kingdom in the health domain while reiterating the depth of ties between the two Arab kingdoms.

Minister Hiyasat told the visiting Bahraini delegation that Jordan has made big strides in the medical industry thanks to the integration of potentials and partnership between the public and private sectors.

Jordan he added has also become an international player in the pharmaceutical industry while noting that the Jordanian drugs enter various global markets.

The health minister expressed his ministry's readiness to put its potentials at the service of Bahrain as well as its keenness to exchange expertise with the Bahraini health sector.

The visiting delegation praised the advancements and achievements of the Jordanian medical industry.
