Qatar- Emir welcomes King Mohammed of Morocco

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomes King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco and his delegation at Hamad International Airport.

Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday led well-wishers to welcome King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco and his delegation at Hamad International Airport.

Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani was also present at the airport to greet King Mohammed who arrived on an official visit to Qatar.

Qatari Ambassador to Morocco Abdulla bin Falah bin Abdulla Al Dossari and Moroccan Ambassador to Qatar Al Makki Kwan were also present.

Later the Emir and King Mohammed held official talks at the Emiri Diwan attended by the Deputy Emir and Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco.

They reviewed relations between the two brotherly countries ways of enhancing them at various levels for the benefit of both countries and their peoples and issues of common interest particularly regional developments including the situation in Palestine Syria and Yemen.

King Mohammed was accorded an official reception at the Emiri Diwan.

The Emir also hosted a dinner banquet in honour of King Mohammed and his delegation.
