An Earthquake Hits Oklahoma

Oklahoma City Rajab 21 1437 April 28 2016 SPA -- A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit the central U.S. state of Oklahoma on Wednesday the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

The earthquake was centered near the town of Luther about 50 kilometers north of Oklahoma City. Although it was a light earthquake USGS said it was felt 200 kilometers away in Wichita Kansas. The agency also recorded a minor 2.8-magnitude earthquake earlier Wednesday near Harrah about 40 kilometers northeast of Oklahoma City.
